UN Forum on Minority Issues database

The UN Forum on Minority Issues database compiles documentation related to advocacy on national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities.

The UN Forum on Minority Issues database is a resource for civil society actors who work on the human rights of minority communities. It was created by the Tom Lantos Institute in cooperation with the Human Rights Consortium in the School of Advanced Study, University of London, and was built on HURIDOCS’s flagship tool Uwazi.

The database brings together documents originating from sessions of the UN Forum on Minority Issues, a platform that was established in 2008 to promote dialogue and cooperation on issues related to national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities. It also compiles key reports, recommendations and standards involving minority rights; transcriptions of statements made by forum attendees; and relevant news and datasets.
