HURIDOCS Executive Director Danna Ingleton’s participated in a Human Rights Council 56 event exploring the role of digital literacy in navigating the complexities of AI.
Uwazi was showcased on GitHub’s Open Source Friday by HURIDOCS’ Tech Lead Rafael Pólit.
HURIDOCS held a workshop in Indonesia last August to highlight the power of collective work for the documentation of human rights violations during emergent crises. The workshop brought together 12 participants representing various community organisations from six different countries in the Asia Pacific region: Bangladesh, Burma, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and West Papua.
We had the privilege of warmly welcoming Danna Ingleton, our new Executive Director, while bidding a fond farewell to Friedhelm Weinberg and Gisella Reina.
Our interim Executive Director discussed AI’s impact on growth with Google’s CEO and other innovators.
HURIDOCS will be actively present at RightsCon Costa Rica, with a thought-provoking session on the Future of Human Rights Documentation and a workshop on data modelling for human rights documentation.
